BACK PACK
TRIPS
Our overnight hiking
trips are awesome. We travel by van into the nearby Nicolet National
Forest and hike into an area loaded with unspoiled lakes and beauteous
campsites. On all of
our trips, the importance of leave no trace
camping is stressed and practiced.

CANOE TRIPS
Northern Wisconsin
has an abundance of canoeing waters. After passing basic swimming and
canoeing requirements, campers may choose to enjoy the thrill and
adventure of a canoe trip. The youngest campers will take an overnight
trip near camp. Other campers will paddle the Wolf River in Oneida and
Langlade counties. Pure northern Wisconsin, the Wolf has a national
designation as a Wild and Scenic River. The water is clean and
shorelines heavily forested. The boys usually paddle in groups of 12
with six counselors and leaders.

LAKE SUPERIOR TRIP
Campers may choose to
go on the Lake Superior trip, which departs during the three week
session. It is a two day trip up to the beautiful Apostle Islands of
Lake Superior. Using chartered buses, campers and counselors are
transported to Bayfield and take a ferry over to Madeline Island for an
afternoon of swimming and beach games. Later, everyone heads back to
the mainland for a campout, complete with a campfire under a starry
sky. Other stops during the trip include a wildlife park and Copper Falls State Park.

WATER
PARK TRIP
Every camper who
stays more than one session has the choice of going on an overnight hiking trip, an overnight backpacking trip, or a trip to a local
waterpark. The Lodge at Cedar Creek is located in Wausau, is brand new,
and completely indoors, so weather is not a factor. Those who choose
the trip to the waterpark will be treated to a day of wet and wild fun
in their 50,000 square foot facility. Cedar Creek's main attractions
are its seven waterslides, activity pools, and The Lazy River, where
you can float lazily along on inner tubes. Enjoy the water activities
or stay dry and try their arcade with 50 video games.
